The Hikvision DS-9664NI-M8 is a comprehensive NVR with 64 channels (16 channels playback simultaneously). You can easily view images live or later on through the VGA and HDMI connection, to which you can connect an external monitor. The v8 SATA connections on the DS-9664NI-M8 allow you to connect external HDDs, each with a maximum capacity of 14TB.

H.265+ image compression
To save bandwidth and storage space, the Hikvision DS-9664NI-M8 allows H.265+ image compression to be applied to images. This means they take up less space and you can store images on your hard drive for much longer.
